Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. macaroni (shells or twists work best)
  • 2 c. (8 oz.) sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 (2 oz.) jar diced pimentos, drained
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (2 1/2 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained

Method

  • Cook macaroni and drain.
  • Saute onion, pimentos and mushrooms in butter.
  • Combine macaroni, onion mixture and remaining ingredients; mix well.
  • Spoon into lightly greased 2-quart casserole.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
