Ingredients
- 1 cup macroni
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp oil
- 2 each eggs (beaten)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 100 grams grated cheese
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 tbsp parmesan cheese (grated)
Method
- cook macaroni, drain well and stir in oil
- melt butter in a saucepan, stir in salt, pepper, flour and cook for a minute or two continuously stirring.
- gradually stir in milk to make a smooth white sauce
- mix some of the sauce with the beaten eggs, then stir into the remaining sauce off the heat, add the cheese
- pour over macaroni in a baking dish.
- bake at 180celsius until bubbling hot
