Ingredients

  • 1 cup macroni
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 2 each eggs (beaten)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 100 grams grated cheese
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 tbsp parmesan cheese (grated)

Method

  • cook macaroni, drain well and stir in oil
  • melt butter in a saucepan, stir in salt, pepper, flour and cook for a minute or two continuously stirring.
  • gradually stir in milk to make a smooth white sauce
  • mix some of the sauce with the beaten eggs, then stir into the remaining sauce off the heat, add the cheese
  • pour over macaroni in a baking dish.
  • bake at 180celsius until bubbling hot
