Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. macaroni
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 3 c. milk
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
- some breadcrumbs
Method
- Cook macaroni.
- Combine butter, cheese, salt and pepper with hot drained macaroni in bowl and mix well.
- Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole. Beat eggs and milk in small bowl until well mixed.
- Pour over macaroni.
- Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes or until macaroni is set and golden brown on top.
- Sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
- Yields 6 to 8 servings.
