Ingredients
- 1/4 c. oil
- 2 c. chopped onions
- 1 c. diced carrots
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 6 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 qt. stock
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. marjoram
- 1 tsp. dill seed
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. caraway seed
- 1 1/2 to 2 c. powdered milk
Method
- Heat oil in large soup pot.
- Saute onions, carrots, celery and potatoes until onions are transparent.
- Pour in stock, spices and salt.
- Bring to a boil, then simmer for about 1 hour until the potatoes are tender, but won't fall apart.
