Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 pkg. shell macaroni, cooked and drained
- 1 can chilies, chopped
- 2 c. fat free shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
Method
- In a skillet brown turkey and onion over medium heat.
- Drain. Add the water, taco seasoning and tomato sauce and mix.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Stir in macaroni, chilies and 1 1/2 cups of cheese.
- Pour into a greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes, or until heated through.
