Ingredients
- 4 medium cooking apples
- 4 Tbsp. raisins
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Remove core from apples, leaving 1/2-inch of the core at bottom of the apple.
- Peel top one-third of apple.
- Arrange apples in baking pan.
- Put 1 tablespoon of raisins in the center of each apple.
- Pour water over apples.
- Sprinkle cinnamon over apples.
- Bake 45 to 60 minutes or until tender. Spoon liquid from pan over apples one or two times during baking. Makes 4 servings, 1 apple each.
