Ingredients

  • 1 fryer (3 to 4 lb.)
  • 1 (7 oz.) pkg. macaroni and cheese dinner
  • 1 onion, chopped (medium)
  • 1 sweet green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 c. chicken broth
  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • 1/2 c. flour

Method

  • Stew and skin chicken and dice.
  • Cook macaroni and cheese according to package directions.
  • Saute onion and pepper in margarine.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Mix mushroom soup and chicken broth with flour.
  • Mix all together and pour in large casserole dish. Top with grated cheese.
  • Bake in 350° oven for 30 minutes.
