Ingredients
- 150 grams Lotus root
- 1 1/2 tsp Sesame oil
- 2 tsp Toasted sesame seeds
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 -1 1/2 teaspoons Soy sauce
Method
- Peel and quater the lotus root, and slice 2-3 mm thick.
- Place on a large plate.
- Pour the ingredients over the lotus root and mix it up to coat evenly.
- Line the toaster oven with a sheet of aluminum foil.
- Place the lotus root on the foil and toast for 5 minutes.
- Combine the ingredients in the dish that was used for Step 2.
- Once the lotus root has finished toasting, add it to the sauce while still hot and mix well.
- Done!
