Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. frozen broccoli cuts
  • 2 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 lb. ground sausage, cook and drain
  • 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can whole tomatoes
  • 1 pkg. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 can French fried onion rings

Method

  • Cook and drain vegetables.
  • Brown and drain sausage.
  • Combine vegetables, sausage, water chestnuts, mayonnaise and mushroom soup.
  • Put in a 3-quart casserole dish.
  • Top with whole tomatoes and Cheddar cheese.
  • Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
  • During the last 5 minutes of baking, sprinkle with onion rings.
