Ingredients
- 2 (1 1/2 lb.) lobsters
- 1 c. white wine
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. sherry
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Method
- First, prepare to steam lobsters as follows: Combine the wine, water, garlic, lemon juice, sherry and salt in a pot large enough to hold the lobsters.
- Bring to a rolling boil over high heat. Quickly place the lobsters in the pot and cover with a lid.
- Cook until lobsters turn bright red (about 12 minutes).
- Remove the lobsters from the pot and set aside until cool enough to handle. Now prepare ingredients for chowder.
