Ingredients
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. Crisco, melted
- 3 1/2 c. flour
Method
- Warm milk and water.
- Put in a bowl; then stir in yeast.
- Let set until yeast is dissolved.
- Stir in salt, sugar, egg, Crisco and 2 cups flour.
- Let rise a few minutes; then knead in 1 1/2 cups flour.
- Let dough rise until light; then make into small rolls in a 9 x 12-inch pan; let rise again until light.
- Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes.
