Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 c. water
- juice of 6 lemons
- juice of 2 oranges
- 1 c. fresh mint leaves
Method
- Boil sugar and water to form syrup.
- Cool.
- Add juice of lemons and oranges.
- Pour mixture over mint leaves and let stand one hour.
- Strain into large pitcher.
- Refrigerate overnight. Serve over crushed ice.
- Garnish with cherry or fresh mint leaves. Makes one quart.
