Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 lemon, grated with rind and juice

Method

  • Add flour to sugar.
  • Pour in juice and rind of lemon.
  • Beat egg yolks and add with milk to lemon mixture.
  • Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
  • Bake in lightly greased casserole with pan of water.
  • Bake at 300 degrees for one hour.
  • Watch carefully for when it is brown and the pudding is set.
  • Serve plain or with whipped cream.
