- 1 lb. oleo
- 6 eggs, added one at a time
- 2 1/2 c. sugar, added a little at a time
- 4 c. all-purpose flour, added a little at a time
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 oz. bottle lemon flavor
- 1/2 lb. candied red cherries
- 1/2 lb. candied green cherries
- 1 qt. pecans
Method
- Cream oleo.
- Add eggs, one at a time.
- Add sugar a little at a time.
- Add flour a little at a time.
- Add baking powder.
- Fold lemon flavor and cherries in.
- Put in a tube pan that has been greased and floured.
- Bake 4 1/2 hours at 250°.
- (Make sure this cake is done.)
