Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
- 3/4 c. butter
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. lemon juice
- powdered sugar
Method
- Combine 2 cups flour and 1/2
- cup
- powdered sugar.
- Cut butter into flour mixture with a pastry blender or fork, until resembles coarse meal.
- Spoon flour mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Press firmly with fingertips.
- Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes or until crust is slightly browned.
- Cool.
