Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. oatmeal
  • 1/2 c. margarine, melted
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Method

  • Pour margarine over oatmeal in mixing bowl.
  • Sift dry ingredients and mix with oatmeal.
  • Beat egg and add.
  • Add vanilla, blending into mixture.
  • Add pecans.
  • Cover cookie sheet with foil and drop by 1/2 teaspoonfuls.
  • Bake at 325° for approximately 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Cool before removing from foil.
