Ingredients
- 3 qt. popped corn
- 1/2 c. pecans or roasted peanuts
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 c. corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Place popcorn and nuts in a greased jellyroll pan.
- Melt butter and sugar with syrup and salt.
- Bring to a boil for 5 minutes.
- Do not stir.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in soda and vanilla.
- Pour mixture over popcorn.
- Stir until coated.
- Bake at 300° for 30 minutes, stirring often after 15 minutes.
- Cool and break.
- Store in airtight container.
