Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz. Maxwell House instant coffee
- 1 1/2 qt. boiling water
- 6 c. sugar
- 2 oz. vanilla
- 1 qt. Everclear grain alcohol
- 1/2 fifth more water
Method
- Steep coffee in 1 1/2 quarts of boiling water.
- Combine the sugar and 1 quart boiled water and cook for 1/2 hour.
- Cool.
- Mix coffee and sugar mixtures together.
- Add vanilla, alcohol and 1/2 fifth more water to make 1 gallon.
- May be served over cracked ice or vanilla ice cream.
