Ingredients
- 5 Grilled chikuwa
- 2 tbsp Yakitori sauce
- 1 tbsp Water
- 1 dash Oil
- 1 Shichimi spice or sansho
Method
- Cut the grilled chikuwa in half lengthwise.
- This time, I use mini-sized ones.
- Line up the cut chikuwa and skewer with a toothpick.
- By doing this, they won't roll around.
- Cook the chikuwa with a bit of oil in a frying pan over low heat until crispy.
- Turn off the heat and add the yakitori sauce and water.
- Turn the heat back on and simmer to coat the chikuwa.
- They'll burn easily, so be careful!
- Once cooked, season as you like with shichimi or sansho.
