Ingredients
- 1 large head cabbage, shredded
- 1 large sweet onions, sliced thin
- 1 green pepper, sliced thin
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 Tbsp. salt
Method
- Shred cabbage into large plastic bowl.
- Place onions and peppers on top.
- Sprinkle sugar over all.
- DO NOT STIR!!!
- Put rest of ingredients into a saucepan and bring to full boil.
- Pour over cabbage mixture.
- AGAIN,
- DO NOT STIR!!!
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 12 hours.
- (This can remain saturating for 3 days in fridge.)
- Makes 6 servings.
