Ingredients

  • chicken pieces (to fill top of a casserole)
  • Minute rice
  • bit of salt
  • 1 jar stuffed olives

Method

  • Brown chicken pieces on outside and drain.
  • Pour off all possible grease and add water for rice into chicken crumbs in skillet.
  • In a casserole large enough to lay chicken on top of rice, place amount of Minute rice for number of servings and add boiling water from skillet in the same amount.
  • Let stand, covered, a bit.
  • Lay browned chicken on top and cover.
  • Place in 350° oven for 1/2 hour.
