Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 pkg. or Tbsp. yeast
- 2 scant tsp. salt
- 2 generous Tbsp. sugar
- 3 to 4 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. melted shortening or oil
Method
- Mix ingredients together and knead until firm and elastic. Let raise 10 minutes.
- Punch down.
- Let raise until double.
- Put in bread pan and raise again.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes in 350° oven.
