Ingredients
- 16 eggs
- 4 tall cans evaporated milk
- 2 c. whipping cream
- 6 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- pinch of salt
Method
- Beat eggs.
- While stirring, add remaining ingredients.
- Cook in top of double boiler over hot, not boiling, water.
- Stir with wooden spoon until mixture coats spoon.
- Be careful not to overcook.
- Remove from heat and cool.
- Can be frozen in an ice cream freezer.
