Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter, softened
  • 1 (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • strawberry jam
  • sifted powdered sugar

Method

  • Cream butter and cream cheese.
  • Beat until light and fluffy. Add flour, mixing well.
  • Roll dough to 1/8-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.
  • Cut with a 2-inch round cutter.
  • Place 2 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheets.
  • Spoon 1/4 teaspoonful of jam on each cookie.
  • Fold opposite sides together, slightly overlapping edge.
  • Bake at 375° for 15 minutes.
  • Remove to wire rack to cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
