Ingredients
- 1 lb. Italian sausage
- 1 (16 oz.) bag egg noodles
- 1 (16 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 large onion
- 1 medium green pepper
- salt to taste
- pepper (optional)
Method
- Cut sausage into pieces.
- Slice onion and pepper.
- Fry in covered pan until browned.
- Place noodles in 6 quarts boiling water.
- Return to second boil, stirring occasionally, until tender.
- Add sausage mixture and spaghetti sauce and pour over drained noodles.
- Makes approximately 8 (1/2 cup) servings.
