Ingredients
- 6 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, mashed
- 2 Tbsp. wine vinegar
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. black pepper
Method
- Place oil in bowl; add garlic and stir well.
- Discard bits of garlic.
- Add all other ingredients and beat well with a wire whisk.
- Refrigerate.
- Add any seasoning to your taste such as basil, oregano, anchovies, crushed red pepper, chopped green onions, powdered mustard or others.
- Makes about 1 cup.
