Ingredients

  • 12 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
  • 1 c. shredded natural Swiss cheese
  • 1/3 c. chopped onion
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 c. Bisquick baking mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Method

  • Heat oven to 400°.
  • Lightly grease 10-inch pie plate.
  • Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in pie plate.
  • Beat remaining ingredients until smooth, 15 seconds in blender on high speed or 1 minute with hand beater.
  • Pour evenly into pie plate.
  • Bake until top is golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 30 minutes.
  • Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.
  • Garnish with tomato slices and bacon strips if desired.
  • Refrigerate any remaining pie.
  • Makes 6 servings.
