Ingredients
- 1 c. mashed Irish potatoes or mashed instant potatoes
- 1 c. lard
- 1 c. scalded milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 yeast cake, dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, beaten lightly
Method
- Mix ingredients.
- Stir in enough flour to make a soft dough. Put in greased bowl.
- Put in icebox.
- Will keep for several days. Make out rolls and set in warm place about 2 hours before baking. Will rise to about double in size.
- Bake in hot oven.
