Ingredients
- 12 medium to large tomatoes
- 2 large onions
- 2 sweet bell peppers
- 2 c. chopped hot peppers (chili, jalapeno or habaneros)
- 2 c. white vinegar
- 1 1/2 c. sugar or honey
- 2 Tbsp. salt
Method
- Simmer for 2 to 3 hours until desired thickness is obtained. Pour into hot jars and seal.
- (Be warned that this is hot and spicy; 1 cup of chopped hot peppers can be used to "mild" it down.)
