Ingredients
- 1/3 c. chopped red hot pepper
- 1 c. chopped green hot pepper
- 2 c. vinegar
- 6 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 (6 oz.) bottle Certo
Method
- Put peppers and 1 cup of vinegar in blender.
- Run until small flakes of peppers.
- Mix sugar and 1 cup of vinegar in a large boiler.
- Add peppers to this mixture.
- Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes.
- Add Certo and boil for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and allow to stand for 5 minutes.
- Skim and put into 1/2 pint jars. Seal with lids or paraffin wax.
- This makes 7 or 8 jars.
