Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 2 1/4 c. powdered sugar
- 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 6 sq. semi-sweet chocolate
Method
- Combine butter and sugar in top of double boiler.
- Stir in evaporated milk; add chocolate.
- Cook over hot water for 30 minutes.
- Do not stir.
- Remove from heat; beat until creamy. Store in refrigerator and reheat as needed.
- Add cream for a thinner sauce.
- Yields 1 1/2 pints.
