Ingredients
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 3 sq. chocolate
- 3 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 can evaporated milk
Method
- In saucepan, melt margarine and 3 squares of chocolate. Remove from heat and blend in 3 cups sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of salt and vanilla.
- Mix well and add evaporated milk.
- Return mixture to heat, mix and cook until all sugar is dissolved, about 5 to 8 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
- Makes 1 quart. Refrigerate.
