Ingredients
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 c. milk
- 1 (7 1/2 oz.) can crab meat, drained
- 2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
- 1/4 c. chopped pimiento
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. slivered almonds
Method
- In a skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of butter; blend in flour. Add milk all at once.
- Cook until thickened and bubbly.
- Stir in crab meat, eggs, pimiento, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.
- Spoon mixture into 6 individual casseroles or baking shells.
