Ingredients

  • 1 (11 1/2 oz.) can condensed bean with bacon soup
  • 1 c. shredded sharp American cheese
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped canned green chili peppers
  • 1 tsp. instant minced onion
  • dash of garlic powder
  • corn chips or tortilla chips

Method

  • In saucepan, combine first 5 ingredients and 1/4 cup water. Heat slowly, stirring constantly, until heated through.
  • Transfer to fondue pot or small chafing dish.
  • Keep warm over fondue or chafing dish burner.
  • Add water to thin, as necessary.
  • Serve with chips.
  • Makes about 2 cups.
