Ingredients
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/3 c. honey
- 1 tsp. grated orange rind
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. orange juice
- 2 (1 lb. each) cans whole drained yams
Method
- In a 10-inch skillet, heat the margarine, honey, orange rind, orange juice and salt.
- Boil gently for 10 minutes.
- Add yams. Continue boiling gently, turning yams once midway until most of the syrup is absorbed and the yams are hot, about 10 minutes.
- Yields 6 to 8 servings.
