Ingredients

  • 6 pcs of chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons of honey (preferably forest origin)
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon jam
  • 1 whole garlic (app. 10 cloves)
  • (1 fresh chilli pepper)
  • 1 dcl of white wine
  • 10 g unsalted butter
  • ginger powder,
  • asian lemongrass,
  • soy sauce,
  • pepper,
  • salt according to taste

Method

  • First prepare the marinade for the chicken. For this whisk together the honey, mashed garlic, ginger powder, soy sauce, lemongrass (and if you like hot food then the thin slices of fresh chilli )in a bowl. Add the whole chicken breasts and leave it in the fridge for 24 hours. Next put baking paper on a baking tray. Put the marinated chicken breasts on the tray and bake them until golden. Set the owen on 200 °C, golden colour achieved after app. 30 mins. While baking the chicken you can prepare the sauce.
  • For this take a sauce pan and pour in the marinade that was left in the bowl of the chicken. Add the lemon jam, the white wine, some more soy sauce according to taste. Let it simmer on low heat, after about 5 mins add butter. Let it simmer for another app 5 mins until sauce thickens a bit. Filter the sauce before serving.
  • After the chicken is ready take it out on a plate and cover with a lid. Let it rest for about 15 mins.
  • When serving the chicken slice it, grind some fresh pepper and salt on the slices. Serve the sauce separately or you can pour it over the chicken.
