Ingredients
- 1 lb. carrots, cut lengthwise in 3 x 3/8-inch strips
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. butter
- 6 Tbsp. honey
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 3/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Method
- Heat carrots and water to boiling in a 12-inch skillet; reduce heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes until tender.
- Drain and remove carrots.
- Stir in butter, honey, lemon juice, ginger and salt; heat until bubbly.
- Add carrots and cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally until carrots are glazed, about 5 minutes.
