Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean hamburger
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg
- 2 small onions
- 1 green pepper
- 1 to 2 c. quick oats
- 1 1/2 c. tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. thyme (optional)
Method
- Mix all ingredients by hand until well blended.
- Add oats until firm consistency.
- Place in a baking dish and bake in a 350° oven for 45 minutes.
- Loaf is done when browned and crispy on sides.
