Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 fresh jalapeno peppers
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes, diced
  • 1 (4 oz.) can green chili peppers, diced and drained
  • 1/3 c. red pepper, diced
  • 1/2 c. green pepper, diced
  • 1 to 3 Tbsp. snipped cilantro
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. white vinegar
  • 1 small can tomato sauce

Method

  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl except small can tomato sauce. Pour into blender and blend slowly to desired thickness (blend in 3 to 4 small batches at a time).
  • Mix in bowl and add some tomato sauce until desired consistency.
  • Enjoy with regular or fat-free chips.
