Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 3 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • dash bottled hot pepper sauce
  • 1 lb. pecan halves (4 1/4 cup)

Method

  • In heavy skillet melt butter or margarine.
  • Stir in rest of ingredients.
  • Toss until nuts are coated.
  • Place in single layer on 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 baking pan.
  • Bake in 300° oven for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring often till nuts are brown and crisp.
  • Makes about 4 1/4 cups.
