Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs, (sage, tarragon, thyme)
  • 1 cup clear apple cider
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup HEINZ Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 pouch Certo Liquid Pectin

Method

  • HEAT cider and herbs to boiling in a medium saucepan.
  • Set aside to steep for 5 minutes.
  • ADD sugar and vinegar.
  • STIR over medium high heat.
  • Bring to a full rolling boil and boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat.
  • IMMEDIATELY stir in liquid fruit pectin.
  • LET stand 5 minutes, stirring constantly to distribute herbs.
  • POUR quickly into warm, sterilized jars filling up to 1/4-inch from rim.
  • SEAL while hot with sterilized 2-piece lids with new centres.
