- 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
- 1 lb. mushrooms
- 2 c. chopped celery
- 1 large chopped onion
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 can water
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. wild rice
- 1/2 c. white rice
- 1/2 c. sherry
- pepper
Method
- Soak wild rice for 2 hours.
- Brown meat, onion and celery. Saute mushrooms.
- Add sherry; mix all ingredients in bowl.
- Bake 2 hours at 350° (1 1/2 hours in 2 small dishes).
- Half recipe makes two (1-quart) dishes.
