Ingredients

  • 40 saltine crackers
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 c. dark brown sugar
  • 5 oz. chocolate chips

Method

  • Preheat oven to 400°.
  • Line cookie sheet with foil.
  • Line the foil with the 40 saltine crackers.
  • In saucepan, combine butter and sugar.
  • Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  • Boil 3 minutes.
  • Pour over saltines.
  • Bake 5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and return to oven for 12 seconds.
  • Spread melted chips over saltines and refrigerate 2 hours.
  • Peel from foil and break into pieces.
