Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 or 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 lb. hamburger meat
  • 1 can fat-free chicken broth
  • 1 can tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 2 c. chopped cabbage
  • 1 pkg. frozen vegetables or fresh vegetables, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder

Method

  • Saute onion, garlic and celery in pan; spray with nonstick cooking spray. Add hamburger meat. Cook until meat is browned. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, then simmer until vegetables are tender. This makes a large amount.
