Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
  • 3/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3 cans condensed minestrone soup
  • 1 (31 oz.) can pork and beans
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano

Method

  • Saute ground chuck, onion and garlic in skillet until beef is browned and onion is tender.
  • Drain pan drippings, then pour mixture into a Dutch oven or large pot.
  • Stir in soup, beans, celery, Worcestershire sauce and oregano.
  • Simmer, covered, for 15 to 20 minutes.
