Ingredients

  • 0.5 (8 ounce) package rotelle pasta, Uncooked
  • 2 lbs ground turkey or 2 lbs chicken
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans cajun-style stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 12 teaspoon salt

Method

  • Cook pasta according to package directions.
  • In large saucepan, over medium heat, cook and stir turkey, onion and garlic in oil until turkey is no longer pink.
  • Add remaining ingredients except pasta; mix well.
  • Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer covered for 45 minutes.
  • Stir pasta into chili; heat through.
