- 9 lb. lean pork, cut in 1-inch cubes
- 3 1/3 c. pineapple juice
- 1 (No. 10) can chunk pineapple
- 1 1/3 cubes margarine
- 1/3 c. soy sauce
- 2/3 lb. celery, chopped
- 1 1/3 c. green peppers, chopped
- 2/3 c. vinegar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- salt to taste
- Accent to taste
- 1/3 c. cornstarch
Method
- Brown meat in margarine.
- Cover tightly and simmer until meat is tender.
- Add vinegar, pineapple juice, celery and bell pepper. Simmer until tender.
- Add remaining ingredients, stir constantly until mixture thickens.
- Serves 50 family style or 60 to 65 plates.
