Ingredients
- 3 c. diced or sliced, cooked beets
- 1 c. liquid (beet juice and water)
- 3 Tbsp. flour or 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. or more sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1/4 c. vinegar
Method
- Heat together beets and liquid.
- Mix remaining ingredients. Stir into beets.
- Cook, stirring constantly until smoothly blended and thickened.
