Ingredients
- 2 c. cooked beets (canned)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour or cornstarch
- 1/3 c. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
- pepper to taste
- liquid from beets
Method
- Mix sugar and flour; add vinegar and beet juice.
- Cook until thickened.
- Add salt and butter and add to beets and heat.
