Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 pkg. brown gravy mix
- 1 large onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Method
- Season ground beef with salt and pepper.
- Shape into 4 large patties.
- Brown in large skillet.
- Mix brown gravy as directed on package plus 1/2 more cup of water.
- Bring to a boil.
- Drain grease from the hamburger patties.
- Pour gravy mixture over the meat. Slice onion thin and arrange on top of patties.
- Bring to boil. Cover pan and reduce heat to a simmer.
- Simmer for 15 minutes.
